Worship Bob Costas. Love Chris Collinsworth. Like Jerome Bettis. And Tiki Barber is Da Bomb. Alas, I will not watch a single second of football on NBC this year if this Keith Olberwhatever turkey/communist is a featured commentator.
I'm not sure what kind of demographics polling that NBC and NFL have going on, but it's beyond laughable how poorly they judge who's watching football in the United States of America. Rush Limbaugh yes, Socialist weasels no.
Glad to see that there's someone else out there who feels the same way: NBC Football Hypocrisy - Olby "Good!", RUSH "Bad!"...

I gotta admit, if they had Charlie Manson and Zacarias Moussaoui doing the commentary, I probably wouldn't notice. I just don't pay much attention to who is talking during the game.
I mean, I don't see how Olbermann's ability to analyze a game should be influenced from his proven inability to rationally analyze international politics. How is your reaction to this significantly different from those Leftish football fans who were so upset over Rush being hired?

It's not. Leftists have every right in the world to turn off Rush Limbaugh when he's doing color commentary (pun intended) on a Sports program, just as I'll turn off NBC while featuring Olbermann. My overarching point, aside from venting, was to speculate that there's a lot more football fans listening to Rush Limbaugh than there are watching Olbermann, just as there are many more football fans who'd rather listen to Lee Greenwood over the decrepit and America-hating Rolling Stones during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The NFL and NBC have a serious demographics polling problem if they assume their patrons are as politically biased towards the Left as their front offices.

First of all Wulf he's not an analyst, he's just got a stupid segment during the halftime protion. As for you Rammage...quit bringing the political side into my sports world please. I still can't think of a better SportsCenter pair than Patrick/Olbermann on the "Big Show." They defined SportsCenter. They made it what it is today. It's a shame they split up. Granted I'm not fond of this halftime segment he's doing, but if they gave him a better segment to do I would certainly not watch it because of his political stance.
